The 2001 Racing Season, for Bloomquist Racing has had its ups and downs. A very groggy start for Scott, with alot of bad luck, hoovers over his head, this year! That wouldn't be all Scott would have though! The bad luck turned to good, and he has escaped with Six wins already this season.(More than any other driver)Scott has shown us what he is capable of in the past, with Four U.D.T.R.A. Championships, and his bad luck early on in the season has definetely not put him out of contention for another U.D.T.R.A. Title! Let this site take you back, and remember Scott's career as a Late Model Driver, and who knows what else!

Scott Bloomquist going to N.A.S.C.A.R.?
The rumors are everywhere about Scott making his move to N.A.S.C.A.R. I don't think that Scott should make this move because he is doing so good where he is at, but on the other hand, He needs to do what He thinks is best for himself and his family! Personally, I think that he would do very well in a N.A.S.C.A.R., but my heart is in dirt racing, and I think that Scott's is too! Sign my guestbook with your thoughts on this subject, or make it a new topic on the mesage board!
WILL SCOTT CONTINUE HIS DOMINATION THIS YEAR?
Scott bloomquist has won the U.D.T.R.A. Championship 4 times so far, and he is on a road to another one! scott is currently running third in the points standings, with Steve Francis in second and, Rick Eckert holding the throne in first! With enought will-power, and determination, I think Scott has a very good chance of ovetaking the lead! Winning is not a new thing to Mr. Black Sunshine, so he is not afraid to drive the car anywhere to win a race! Look for Scott to make a hard charge for the points win this year, to make it number five!!!!

Scott a nice guy.....or not?
I have heard many stories about Scott Bloomquist being mean to children and any fan who approaches him! Well, I have news for anyone who thinks that, because they are wrong! I was lucky enough to meet Scott when the series stopped at Twincities in Vernon, Indiana! Scott signed about four pieces of memorobilia for me and let me take pictures! We even talked for a few minutes! People say that he stays in the hauler and barricades his car off and never comes out! Think about it this way! Maybe Scott wants to concentrate on the big race and be alone for a while! You don't see Michael Jordan out talkin to the fans before the Championship game! Also, about the car being blocked off! If you had a sixty thousand dollar piece of machinery, would you want everyone touching it and climbing on it? Probably not, so think the next time you say anything about Scott!

We'll have to wait and see if Scott can hold down the fort again and surpass # 24 Eckert to win his Fifth U.D.T.R.A. Championship!
